Role: 2nd Line Support

Salary: Up to £46k

Location: London, EC1 (5 days per week on site)

An exciting new opportunity for a technically minded, confident, enthusiastic individual – working for an international global firm, you will be the main point of contact ensuring devices are productively deployed and used.

You will be expected to display an exceptional level of Technical Support (Tech Bar) resolving a range of queries from Troubleshooting, Hardware / Software Support, Mac iOS, Windows 10, Audio, Zoom & more.


  • Previous experience within a 2nd Line role
  • Great face to face customer resolution
  • Windows Operating Systems – (Windows 10-11)
  • Networking knowledge – TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS
  • Zoom – Windows/iOS Zoom
  • Printers / Scanners / Mobile – iPhones, iPad, and Android – troubleshooting issues and instructing people on using to best advantage inc apps – Zoom, Teams, Intapp, and Office.


  • Provide on-site technical assistance, including computer setup and breakdown, office moves, troubleshooting of printer, scanner, mobile devices, and other technology equipment support as needed.
  • Use of ticketing system to track all customer reports of hardware, software, telephone, mobile device, and peripheral problems.
  • Install and configure desktop, laptop, and telephone equipment in accordance with firm defined installation templates or guidelines.
  • Install, troubleshoot, and maintain PC peripheral equipment such as printers, scanners, and mobile devices.
  • Setup and maintenance of conference room audio-visual equipment.
  • Meeting setup and support for video conferencing using web-based conferencing systems. Also, will provide on-site technical support for off-site/remote trials or conferences.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve wireless connectivity for internal and external customers.
  • Provide support for telephone programming and handset maintenance under direction of OTM.
  • Troubleshoot and coordinate repairs of hardware and software with vendors.
