Role: 2nd Line Support

Term: 4-5 weeks

Job Type: Contract / Urgent

Location: Baldonnel, Dublin (on-site)

Start: Immediately

Our client is well-known multinational manufacturer who require resource to support and manage their IT department. You will be the sole IT Support providing a variety of 1st & 2nd Line Support.

This is a fast-paced environment, you must be confident & comfortable resolving 2nd Line Support. You must be able to attend the Dublin office daily – there may be a requirement to travel on occasion so you must be local/commutable, drive and have access to your own car. Having the right, can-do attitude is key as there is variety in the work, some days will focus on troubleshooting and call closures, where others can be more hands on.

The ideal candidate would be able to communicate honestly, openly, and consistently, showing attention to detail and remaining calm and patient when under pressure.

Essential Technical Skills:

  • Hardware Support
  • PC & Laptop imaging
  • Desktop Support
  • Installations, move & changes
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & Outlook)
  • A good theoretical and practical approach to diagnosing problems.
  • Good all-round understanding of hardware maintenance/break-fix
