We are currently working with a global and rapidly growing Insurance provider who are looking to hire an experienced Business Analyst to join their team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in driving various solutions which will allow company wide growth and expansion to be achieved.

This role will be well suited for a dynamic and driven individual, who is looking to develop their career in an ambitious organisation. You will act as the lead on various projects, while defining business procedures.

This role offers a hybrid working pattern where individuals will need to be based in a Central London office once a fortnight.

The Role:

  • Gain a strong understanding of relevant business areas to be able to recommend solutions.
  • Use a variety of techniques to understand business requirements (including workshops, surveys, site visits, and storyboards etc.).
  • Shape business requirements by making recommendations and suggesting alternatives to proposed solutions.
  • Understand technical options, limitations, costs, and risks. Communicate trade-offs to business partners and work with them to shape requirements accordingly.
  • Translate conceptual user requirements into clear, detailed functional requirements.
  • Help resolve competing priorities between stakeholder groups by facilitating stakeholder discussions and escalate issues where appropriate.

The Candidate:

  • Previous experience working in the insurance sector is a must.
  • Working knowledge of business analytics and methodologies.
  • Familiarity of process modelling tools such as Visio, Miro etc.
  • Commercially focused individual who can communicate efficiently with key stakeholders.
  • Relevant Business Analysis qualification and certifications.
