Role – 3 x Channel Account Manager (IT Security Distribution & Services)

Location – Stockport

Salary – To £27k dependent on experience + £15k commission (uncapped) + Benefits package

Are you a Sales Account Manager with at least 2 years experience in both business and sales, looking for an opportunity with a successful, young and vibrant IT Security Distribution Services company?

Our Client specialize in emerging cloud-based cyber security solutions. They’ve won awards for their outstanding levels of service and support. They are in a growth phase and need agile, ambitious and innovative account managers who can build and maintain strong relationships with both vendors and partners

You must have 2-4 years’ experience ideally in IT security distribution, but any IT/Technical related sector experience will be considered. You must have a desire to work in a fast-paced, varied, and vibrant environment. As Channel Account Manager you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and expanding your partner base which is provided to you.

Required

  • At least 2-4 years’ experience.
  • Natural rapport building skills
  • Good understanding of CRM systems (preferably Salesforce)
  • The drive and desire to be successful
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Be a self-starter who can quickly take ownership of the role.
  • Have a passion to continue to expand your sales knowledge.
  • Be pro-active with a desire to achieve
  • Can demonstrate passion, enthusiasm, and self-confidence.
  • Be able to work both independently and within a team.
  • An active professional interest in business and technology
  • Analytical approach to problem solving
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Excellent Communication Skills – verbal and written

Responsibilities:

  • Constantly build and maintain strong relationships with both vendors and partners
  • Work closely with team members to promote collaborative working and to capitalise on all opportunities
  • To expand your network and increase your knowledge across the partner base
  • To recruit new partners to drive sales and increase overall revenues
  • Create and execute quarterly business plans for all strategic partners to hit quarterly targets
  • Work collaboratively with the marketing team to create campaigns and run marketing activities across your partners
  • Work closely with the technical team to increase your technical knowledge and to upskill your partners
  • Working with partners to build a pipeline to drive opportunities and have full control of your sales
  • Be the main point of contact within your partner base; you are essentially creating your own mini business within a business!
  • Have a good understanding of your partner and their business needs.
  • Bridge the gap between the partner and the vendor daily to represent true added value
  • Have clear and concise goals that will allow you to track progress and hit targets
