Position: Enterprise Architect

Location: Brighton (Hybrid working)

Benefits: £90,000 – £110,000 + Benefits

Are you an architect with the expertise in implementing procedures to transform business processes? My client are long standing telecommunications company that provide a range of services for their 25,000+ customers across a variety of industries. They are currently on the lookout for an Enterprise Architect in order to scale the IT team and assist in the IT transformation within the company.

Transformation is currently in the initial stages, and it sets out to offer multiple long-term benefits including improved customer engagement, operational efficiencies and increased stability which will be down to the effective implementation of the new systems that incorporates Salesforce.

Responsibilities

  • Define and produce a technology roadmap, integrating Salesforce and ServiceNow with other core systems, leveraging technologies such as MuleSoft as appropriate
  • Support prioritisation, commercial and phasing decisions alongside transformation programme manager and business stakeholders
  • Participate in detailed design sessions with inhouse and external development resource
  • Evaluate options to support the migration of additional customer bases, acquired businesses and their products onto the core platforms
  • Identify ways to boost the value gained from company technology investments through providing solutions for stakeholders in Sales and Operations

Essential Skills

  • In-depth technical knowledge and experience of at least one of the core platforms being implemented (Salesforce, ServiceNow)
  • Previous experience working as an Enterprise/Solutions architect leading the creation of a new landscape
  • Broad experience and capability across IT disciplines and technologies – roadmap will be required to consider user authentication, integration technologies, business reporting etc. in addition to core customer supporting systems.
  • The ability to present to C-suite audiences in a concise and action-oriented manner
  • An awareness of technical and commercial trade-offs essential to implementing a transformation within a rapidly growing business

Desirable Skills

  • Prior experience integrating Salesforce into a bespoke and immature technology landscape
  • Prior experience implementing a product catalogue and associated processes into a business that doesn’t have one today
  • Experience of telecoms and IT sectors
  • Experience of billing systems
  • Prior experience as a software developer
