Experienced and personable, hands on IT Manager needed for an immediate contract start – fully on site requirement.

Responsible for a multi-site organisation of around 500 users you will be responsible for the day to day management of the IT systems and processes, along with project management of taking on new sites and systems.

You will be working with a variety of users including vulnerable adults & children and so will have a customer first approach, be able to break things down in to basics as well as dealing with senior stakeholders.

Managing a small team of IT Engineers you will be responsible for the predominately Microsoft based system including Azure Cloud, SharePoint, Teams and bespoke software. The sites have various hardware including laptops, printers and interactive technology.

You will be an experienced IT Manager and come from a similar background, Microsoft based, able to work with a miss-match of technology and bring everything together.

You will work with different levels of users and be highly personable and trustworthy, instilling confidence in stakeholders that things will get done!

You will come from an environment that is working closely with vulnerable users who may need a different level of help and support from a technology perspective. Ideally you will come from a public sector / charity / education type background rather than large corporate due to the nature of the environment.

You will be required to undergo a DBS check before commencing work.
