IT Service Desk Analyst

Role: IT Service Desk Analyst (Contract)

Location: Magowan West, Co. Armagh, BT62, Northern Ireland

Term: 4 months which may extend to 6 months to provide maternity cover

Rate: £150-170 per day DOE inside IR35

Start date: End June/Start July

Eligibility: You must be resident in Northern Ireland and able to work without visa sponsorship

Our client is a large MSP who provide on-site services to large end user clients. This role is a maternity cover with a minimum term of 4 months which may extend to 6 months, however as this is a maternity cover further extensions or temp-perm conversion are a possibility. This role will be part of a new IT Infrastructure and Operations team within a Shared Services Centre.

To be successful you must have:

• IT Service Desk Experience
• ITIL knowledge and experience. Ideally you will be ITIL certified
• Excellent Customer Service, Incident Management and Service Request experience
• Be skilled in Incident Management & Request Fulfilment
• Excellent and clear communication skills, you will be dealing with telephone, email, self-service and walk-ups
• Be able to follow established processes for incident categorisation, major incident escalation and high priority incidents
• Have a strong base IT knowledge to enable you to provide technical guidance (PC, Laptop, Windows Applications, Mobile Devices etc.)
