On-site L2 Engineer (Bristol)

Role: 2^nd Line Support / IT Field Engineer (12 month renewable FTC)

Location: Based from Bristol BS2 office and covering other offices in Bristol area

Salary: £28-30k + Hybrid Company Car, Phone, Fuel Card, Laptop + Benefits Package

Hours: Mon-Fri 9-5:30

Eligibility: You must live locally, have a UK drivers licence and be able to work without a visa

Security Clearance: Ideally you will have BPSS, NPPV3 or SC level security clearance, or at least you must be eligible to obtain clearance (UK resident, clear criminal & financial history etc.)

Are you an experienced 1^st/2^nd Line Support Engineer looking for an exciting opportunity to progress your IT career with a large MSP? In this role you will work on-site supporting customer IT users across multiple sites in and around Bristol. You must be process driven and comfortable following 1^st Line and 2^nd Line Support BAU procedures and working on ad-hoc projects.

This is a renewable fixed term contract for 12 months that will be renewed at 12 month increments in line with the 5 year customer contract.

• Handheld Device Support (MDM, Intune)
• VC Support
• Printer support
• Installations
• Moves, adds & changes
• 1st / 2nd line support

Skills:

• Demonstrable skills and knowledge in the relevant technology areas above
• College, University or Professional certifications
• Likely you will already hold one or more of:
  • CompTIA A+/N+; MCDST; ITIL Foundation v4
• May have, or be studying towards, one or more of:
  • ACA; MCSA; CCNA; VTSP
• UK Drivers Licence with 6 points or less
• Current BPSS, NPPV3 or SC level security clearance or eligible to pass required clearance
