  • Understand the user experience business arena, users segments, internal priorities and competitive landscape to build a compelling product vision & roadmap for the user experience product vertical
  • Establish the key product themes, objectives, metrics and key results for your functional area, and empower your teams throughout the full product management lifecycle
  • Hire, build & manage a team of product managers, offering empowerment and support in development of their skills and their career growth
  • Foster deep partnership and collaboration with Engineering, Designers, Researchers, and Analysts within the Product teams to deliver your vision
  • Build strong business cases using data-driven and user insights approach and align business stakeholders and leadership around your case
  • Drive Product cross-team collaboration across your product teams to build efficient processes & product management best practices
  • Understand the ecosystem of flexible staffing both across the US & the UK and collaborate with the Job Seeker, Client, Internal Operations, Finance and Customer Support teams and their variations
  • Lead on the building of greater relations with our user experience cross functional vertical to understand and serve the users better
  • Work with the wider Product groups to understanding and utilise the product best practises to align deeper with the ecosystem

Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven experience in building and managing products in a digital marketplace OR online commerce in a B2C role
  • Previous experience in building / managing products in the mobile ecosystem (Android, iOS, mobile web)
  • Prior experience of managing small to large teams – the direct reports may increase and scope to build a multi-level reporting structure as the company grows
  • Experience of successfully shipping products in marketplace, e-commerce or HR Tech
  • Working experience of Agile software environment for product development and management
  • Ability to be hands-on and as well as think strategically to build vision and understand problems
  • A natural problem solver, who can break down problems to investigate deeper, prioritise and set a structured methodology of solving problems within the team
  • Previous experience in setting, communicating and aligning the team across a shared vision
  • Understanding of localisation practises for products operating across different countries and geographies
  • Experience working with stakeholders in Executive and C-Suite


  • Prior experience in a B2C product role would be preferred

  • T-style skill set – Ideally the Product Director will be a master in at least one of the following product management areas (Product Execution, Customer and Data Insights, Product Strategy, Influencing Stakeholders) and good in all the other areas
  • This is a technology/ product driven role, so an understanding of technical architecture and tech stack best practices would be ideal
