Radiology Project Manager

Role: Project Manager (Healthcare Software Sector to NHS, Radiology)

Location: Remote based but with willingness to travel should the client request a site visit

Rate: £500-550 per day

IR35: Inside

Duration: 9 months

Are you a Healthcare Software Project Manager with experience in software implementation project for NHS Trusts? You will need to be able to demonstrate experience with Radiology information System (RIS) software implementations to NHS customers. Knowledge of RIS or CRIS OR PACS is required.

As an experienced Project Manager you will support the deployment of our client’s leading healthcare software across a range of customers within the UK and Ireland. Naturally, you will be highly organised, demanding and supportive, capable of influencing and harnessing the collective support and skills of our teams to ensure that projects are deployed according to agreed timelines.

Your key accountabilities will include:

• Managing the life cycle of multiple project activities during deployment including compliance with project plans, key milestones and deliverables
• Managing the relationship with key customers, including travel to client sites as required (which may require periods away from home)
• Managing the transition of deployment of software into live environments including user acceptance testing and deployment verification milestones
• Internal reporting of project status and escalation of critical issues and risks.

The perfect candidate will already have experience of managing large scale projects within the Healthcare sector within Radiology software deployments to the NHS. A Prince2 Project Management qualification combined with knowledge and experience of Radiology Information Systems/PACS is ideal. You will be an effective communicator and shrewd negotiator ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
