  • Analyse and understand Conformity Assessment Body information found in freeform PDF document by liaising with stakeholders and SMEs
  • Model a canonical data schema that covers the common subject data and any pertinent edge cases found in the PDFs
  • Map the information found in the PDFs into a hierarchical data structure (e.g., XML) and evolve a data schema that covers the common ground amongst all CABs
  • Create XML documents that are well-formed and valid (conform to the canonical schema (XSD))

You must be adept at analysis and data structures. The daily tasks will involve going through CABs, talking to SMEs about those CABs to build an XML document representation of said CAB. Each XML document should conform to one common canonical schema. The analysis should identify the best common data structure across all CABs and take into account edge cases when necessary. It should also identify which elements amongst CABs are semantically equivalent and transform those elements into a single structure. It will be important to evolve the schema as new information is discovered. All XML documents should validate against the schema. If JSON is preferred, then this is acceptable.
