  • Role – Senior Finance Manager
  • Type – 12 months Fixed Term Position (Maternity Cover)
  • Location – Central London (Mixture of onsite and remote)
  • Salary – £85-95k base + benefits

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Leading a team of financial analysts in building out and developing the FP&A and commercial finance area of the business into a best in class function
  • Provide Finance leadership and support to key Business Partners and Stakeholders in delivering business strategy through the provision of insightful financial analysis, data and trends
  • Develop robust financial forecasting, business planning, and performance analysis tools that allow management to make informed long / short term data driven decisions which drive improved performance
  • Responsible for the delivery of the annual Budgets, supporting Business Partners in the preparation of their annual revenue forecasts and cost plans
  • Support and challenge budget owners through periodic review meetings to ensure tracking, delivery and control of their budgets and efficiency savings initiatives, and identifying areas of potential improvement
  • Drive the implementation of an efficient and robust revenue and financial forecasting process, as well as the monthly review thereof
  • Drive the continuous evolution of reporting, forecasting, and processes in order to support decision making and to drive an overall improvement in performance
  • Stay up to date with technological advances and accounting software to be used for financial / analytical purposes
  • Provide support in the preparation of timely and accurate monthly management accounts, as well as submission of month end packs to Senior Management and key Business Stakeholders
  • Participate in the monthly review of results with the senior finance team, identifying and discussing key drivers of variances to plans, including revenue, margin and costs
  • KPI reporting across various areas of the business on a weekly and monthly basis.


  • Proven work experience as a Senior Finance Leader with commercial focus, implementing and improving business processes and initiatives to drive commercial value
  • Previous experience developing a team and function
  • Enthusiastic, self-motivated and a desire to drive improvements in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial business
  • Strong analytical skills as well as experience in building complex financial models; proficiency in MS Excel
  • Demonstrated strong problem solving skills and strong Influencing skills
  • Structured thinker, ability to make complex things simple and analyse data from multiple different sources
  • Confidentiality in handling sensitive financial information
  • Strong understanding of business processes and data flows and the impact they have on financial results
  • Great stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills – able to articulate results clearly and concisely to a wide range of stakeholders
  • A self-starter, always looking for opportunities to learn and experiment
  • Willingness to question the validity, accuracy of data and assumptions
