If you enjoy a mix of management and hands on technical delivery then this could be the position for you.

You will be responsible for the development team (3 on shore, 2 off shore) who focus on the Microsoft technology stack – mainly C#. You will manage all activities of the team, enabling them to work as efficiently as possible by providing the appropriate processes, training, skills and leadership.

You will still be hands on at the higher level, acting as the technical and delivery expert for all matters relating to Software Development and Solution Design. You will provide technical recommendations and provide consulting support to the projects.

Processes are a big thing – you will own development frameworks, processes and standards, covering all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC). You will ensure all processes and procedures are being followed.

This position will maximise your background in software development (C# and related technologies) and your progression into a leadership position.

Your line management experience will be strong and ideally across onshore and offshore teams.

You will have excellent experience using a variety of techniques and tools (Development, Team/Task Management, Source control, CI/CD Quality Management) to manage and support the development team and processes is essential.

Your software development process and procedure knowledge is robust, along with your experience working with methodologies such as Agile.

This position can be mainly remote but you will need to be in the office for the needs of the project and to be with your team a couple times a month.
