Role: Support Team Lead

Salary: £27k-£30k + 5-10% bonus & benefits

Location: WFH / Remote / Hybrid

Are you an experienced Team Lead searching for a new opportunity in order to progress and expand your knowledge further? If you are technically minded with an ability to influence & mentor others, this could be the role for you!

Our client is a leading Healthcare Software Vendor who require a Technical Team Lead to join their team – an ideal candidate would have great interpersonal skills and a genuine passion for IT.


  • Previous 1st or 2nd Line Support experience
  • Previous Team Lead / similar role
  • You will need to have a client-driven approach


  • Managing your team’s workload – allocating tickets, project work & service improvement, as well as resolving tickets yourself
  • Ensuring SLAs are met in line with Service Agreements
  • Assisting the Service or Incident Manager, resolving high priority issues such as escalation calls & prime contractors
  • Mentoring and training 1st / 2nd Line Support Teams, improving technical knowledge, skills & identifying any gaps
  • 1-2-1 meetings – defining and managing the team and individual goals in line with Service Objectives

In this role, you will need to be customer focused, forever seeking opportunities to make process’ better. Coaching your team / colleagues, improving their knowledge and technical ability is essential to ensure your team have the ability to resolve complex issues.

Support Team Lead roles give you great experience, further knowledge and added responsibilities which often progress further into Service Management roles e.g., Service Manager, Incident Manager.
