French SAP MM Consultant

We are currently seeking an experienced SAP MM Consultant to join a leading Logistics & Distribution client on an initial 6-month contract based in Paris.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a key SAP programme, supporting the implementation, optimisation, and enhancement of SAP Materials Management solutions within a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and analyse business requirements, translating them into effective SAP MM solutions.
• Configure and support SAP Materials Management processes, including procurement, purchasing, inventory management, and goods movements.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to improve procurement and supply chain operations.
• Work closely with cross-functional SAP teams, including SD and FI/CO.
• Participate in workshops, solution design, testing, user training, and go-live support.
• Troubleshoot functional issues and provide ongoing support throughout the project lifecycle.
• Recommend process improvements and SAP best practices to enhance operational efficiency.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as an SAP MM Consultant on SAP implementation, rollout, or enhancement projects.
• Strong hands-on configuration experience within SAP Materials Management.
• Excellent understanding of procurement and inventory management processes.
• Experience integrating SAP MM with other SAP modules, particularly SD and FI/CO.
• Previous experience within the manufacturing industry is highly desirable.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Fluent French and English (spoken and written) is essential.
• Ability to work on-site in Paris as required (approximately 80% on-site).
