Role: New Business Development Manager

Location: Nationwide (main base in Yorkshire)- 1 day a week on site but can negotiate fully remote.

Salary: up £45k (negotiable) + up to 15% comms on sales

Your Mission

As a New Business Development Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving our growth by generating new business and nurturing strong client relationships. This position offers excellent growth potential for a motivated and ambitious individual. You’ll be responsible for building an effective sales pipeline and managing opportunities through to completion, focusing on our core Cyber consultancy services, including Pen Testing, Risk Management, and MSSP solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with a strong desire for uncapped earnings.
  • Demonstrate determination and tactical expertise in lead development.
  • Actively prospect through calls, LinkedIn, and email campaigns.
  • Generate and qualify opportunities.
  • Attend customer meetings and scoping calls.
  • Exceed KPIs and go the “extra mile” in your efforts.
  • Prepare sales proposals and update customer information in our CRM system.
  • Maintain high-quality leads.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, competitive, and deadline-oriented environment while maintaining excellence.

Core Requirements

  • Proven experience in security solutions or IT services sales.
  • Successful track record as a business development manager.
  • Demonstrable experience in meeting sales targets.
  • Proficiency in CRM software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in high-level negotiations.
  • Strong time management and planning skills.
  • Previous experience in a competitive sales role (e.g., recruitment- knowledge of full earnings is essential).

This is a full 360 role where you will manage the full sales cycle and retain the account.
