Role: DevOps Engineer

Location: Nottinghamshire (Hybrid)

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join a client of ours who operate within the health tech space. As a DevOps Engineer you will be tasked with developing automated pipelines and integration processes to support the deployment and incorporation of the software products with client systems.

Primary Duties and Tasks

• Collaborating with stakeholders to implement DevSecOps through automation.
• Ensuring software releases comply with security standards.
• Overseeing internal infrastructure for optimal performance.
• Supporting technical teams in developing and deploying CI/CD pipelines.
• Creating comprehensive documentation for projects.
• Providing technical expertise to sales teams for high-level designs.

Requirements

• Demonstrated ability in fostering DevSecOps practices.
• Proficiency in DevOps tools like Jenkins, Git, and JIRA on AWS Linux.
• Expertise in Red Hat Linux or similar.
• Knowledgeable in database solutions, especially PostgreSQL.
• Understanding of infrastructure and server technologies.
• Familiarity with configuration management tools like Ansible.
• Implementation experience with security standards and cloud services.
• Competence in containerization with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools.
• Experience with zero downtime software delivery in enterprise settings.
• Skill in producing precise technical documentation.
