Digital Signage Engineer

Role: Digital Signage Engineer

Location: Manchester/London/Glasgow

Rate: £250-£300/day (Inside IR35)

Duration: 12 months

Currently on the lookout for a digital signage engineer who has previous proven experience within this area to join a global media company on a contractual basis. This role will suit someone who is confident, driven, and passionate about creating amazing products. Ideally looking for someone to start asap and be able to hit the ground running from day one.

Essential skills

• Proficient in overseeing the development, deployment, and/or assistance of Digital Signage Products/Services, including their technical frameworks and infrastructure in a technology-driven setting.
• Familiarity with Digital Signage Systems, configuring players/network devices, and utilizing CMS platforms (e.g., Appspace/Tripleplay).
• Hands-on experience and comprehension of networking protocols relevant to connected AV equipment and systems.
• Strong communication skills and proficiency in IT.
• Effective collaboration within diverse teams, demonstrated by addressing technical challenges and providing support as needed.

Desirable Skills

• Familiarity and hands-on expertise with Remedy/Service Now.
• Proficiency in cloud computing domains such as NaaS, SaaS, PaaS, or IaaS, along with a solid understanding of Internet Protocol (IP) technologies.
• Previous engagement in collaborative efforts with third-party service delivery or support within an engineering context.
• Experience with Azure/AWS configuration.
• Awareness of installations related to broadcast or datacentre infrastructure.
