Security and Controls Manager

• Role – Security and Controls Manager
• Location – Bath (2-3 days per week on site plus remote)
• Start date – January 2024
• Duration – 6 months
• Rate – Up to £500 per day

Overview:

We are currently working with a global manufacturing client who are rolling out ERP solutions to the UK, Italy and German plants. We are looking for a Security and controls manager to come on board to ensure the successful security, controls and risk are adhered to during these roll outs.

Key Responsibilities and Outcomes:

• Create a detailed plan for Programme Security and Control.
• Work with external auditors and the internal risk team and the audit committee.
• To take direction from and work collaboratively with the central Programme management team.
• Ensure the business is regularly kept up to date with the overall status, process, upcoming events, risks etc.
• To address and resolve any existing Security and control concerns, to the satisfaction of the Programme team and auditors. In particular:
• Indirect Procurement,
• Ensuring a Controls culture – to be embedded within Training,
• Approvals and workflow.
• Manage a set of Security and Control KPI’s to ensure a successful implementation.
• To provide thought leadership, ensuring that the application of security and controls is fit for purpose.

Qualifications & Technical knowledge:

• Track record of operating within a multi-site environment deployment of an ERP solution, ideally across an engineering, design and manufacturing organisation.
• Experience of working within Security frameworks.
• Experienced in Risk Management and Compliance
• Proven ability to work in large complex projects and multiple work streams.
• Strong understanding and application of Risk and compliance competencies.
