Location: Nottinghamshire/London/Sunderland (Hybrid)

Benefits: Up to £70,000 + more

We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join a client of ours who operate within the health tech space. As a Software Engineer you will be tasked with the development and maintenance of critical applications across the organisation as well as maintaining and supporting systems and software produced by the company.

Primary Duties and Tasks

• Collaborate with product developers and business units to innovate and enhance software and applications design.
• Analyse user needs and ensure system quality and performance through teamwork.
• Innovate in software design, product enhancements, and system architecture.
• Engage in cross-functional projects internally and externally, leveraging technical expertise.
• Drive process improvement in software development and release practices to meet ISO 9001: 2008 standards.
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives and contribute innovative ideas.

Requirements

• Strong background using C and Linux
• Experience with Agile, Jira and/or confluence would be ideal.
• Large organisation experience.
• Experience with C++ would be beneficial.
• Good communication skills.
